Protect Your pendrive with Password



You may carry sensitive information in your pen drive and it should be very careful about that data otherwise if you loose that pen drive then there is a chance of steeling the data.So i will explain how to make a pendrive password protected follow this steps.

1.Insert your USB drive and format it.

2.Click on START and go to control panel.

3.In that go to=>System and Security and you can see at the bottom as Bit locker Drive Encryption

4.Now check for your device among the list

5.Turn on bit locker to your device and wait for 2 minutes to turn it on

6.After that you will be getting a window to select a your desired password and enter the password

7.Save that key it may be useful in future when you forget

8.It asks encryption for your device just wait for sometime

9.After clicking NEXT you will see a window it is ENCRYPTING % wait until it gets completed and if any power loss occur in this process then you won't be able to open it,so be careful

10.Once the ENCRYPTION process is done you will see a LOCK icon on your USB drive.To confirm it remove USB device and plug it again this time it will be asking password

    Or in TV it ask password?

  2. Format the pendrive and try to protect it by using software called Rohos Mini Drive
    http://www.rohos.com/.If it doesn't work then go with USB safe guard
