Protect files and folders in windows

Security is the major issue now a days.Hacking is done very easily.so a strong password may help you to protect from these hackers.This is all about website security.Now before protecting your files and folders in WINDOWS it is a good idea to create a backup for every thing.

For the users of Windows 7,8 and 8.1
As by default windows latest versions doesn't provide any security for files and folders,so we have to use any third party application.In the event that you need to encode a record or envelope this should be possible by taking these strides(steps).

1.Select the file or folder that you want to encode or encrypt
2.Right tap on the file and snap on properties
3.Click the advanced patch
4.Check "Encrypt contents to secure data"choice
5.Snap apply and click on OK.

If you can't encrypt the file or folder then your version of windows doesn't support this feature and also remember that the hard drive shouldn't be formatted with NTFS as this is a need for encryption feature.
