Virus Attack On Friday 13

Does any one knows the virus that attacks on a particular day.This virus attacks only on a particular day and this can't be fixed.All of you people know the Friday 13 movie but there is a
virus with that name.A Make sure that  your system that does not get any virus of this type.Once if you get this type of virus it totally destroys your MS-DOS and particularly
.exe files and .com.If you want to know what the attack is and how to

History of Friday 13 attack:
                               Jerusalem is a DOS virus first detected in Jerusalem, in October 1987. On infection, the Jerusalem virus becomes memory resident (using 2kb of memory), and then infects 
every executable file run, except for COMMAND.COM.[2] COM files grow by 1,813 bytes when infected by Jerusalem and are not
 re-infected. .EXE files grow by 1,808 to 1,823 bytes each 
time they are infected. The virus re-infects .EXE files 
each time the files are loaded until they are too large to 
load into memory. Some .EXE files are infected but do not 
grow because several overlays follow the genuine .EXE file 
in the same file. Sometimes .EXE files are incorrectly infected,
causing the program to fail to run as soon as it is executed.
So as you see that the Jerusalem attack is so  powerful and impossible to fix .Now friends lets see how to fix the virus and

WHAT IS JERUSALEM VIRUS:

The Jerusalem virus is one of the oldest computer viruses, 
dating back to 1987. It infected files in the MS-DOS operating 
systems that were standard at the time. After DOS operating systems were succeeded by newer types of operating systems, 
the Jerusalem virus became largely obsolete. The Jerusalem virus is thought to have originated in Israel.Now look at the fixing process or the removal of this type of virus from our system.

5) Heuristic-based detection - used to identify unknown viruses 
(like no 2). This can be done by searching a file for virus-like instructions,
or executing a program in a virtual environment and logging the
actions the program makes.
6)Carry out a full scan of your computer using Symantec Antivirus, 
after checking that it is updated.Check the computer with Symantec 
Active Scan, Panda Security's free, online scanner, which will quickly detect any possible viruses.
7)After deleting this malware by following the specified steps, 
if your computer runs Windows xp as usually and there will be no
more virus and wont get attacked by any type of virus

How can I protect my computer from Jerusalem? 

In order to keep your computer protected, bear the following tips in mind:
Install a good antivirus in your computer.
Keep your antivirus updated. If automatic updates are available, configure your antivirus to use them.
Keep your permanent antivirus protection enabled at all times.


So friends i suggest to use Symantec Antivirus or Norton Antivirus or the Panda security.Other than this no other can remove if you choose Windows Defender or Kaspersky it wont work...
